FrontPage 2000 gave the kids lots of ways to customize their Web images. For example, FrontPage helped them make transparent images - so objects looked like they were floating on top of the background.
They also interlaced some of the pictures - which is a special way to make images download onto a Web visitor's computer.
Oh, Blip! Remember that page where they had those elastic letters stretching onto the screen? Sigh! Reminded me of the ocean�
Ahem. Focus, Pixel! The effect that Pixel just mentioned was created using Dynamic HTML - DHTML, for short - but don't let the name woogle you! It's just a way to animate text and images on a Web page. With FrontPage 2000, it was really easy to add DHTML effects.
